Many Baptists of the Reformed persuasion (of which I am) have come out of a tradition of paedo-baptism (of which I did not). Many are convinced that Believer’s Baptism is the Biblical position but feel guilty for abandoning the roots of early faith, perhaps even going against their parents convictions.
